Yeah, if anyone knows about winning the division and not getting past the 1st round, it's a Seattle fan.
So, Sox v. Yanks... it all comes down to this, and eveyone (me included) was pissed at MLB when the season started for putting these games at the end "it will be decided by then, this wont matter".
So, The yanks need 2 out of 3 to clinch.
The sox need 2 out of 3 to force a tie, 3 out of 3 to take the division.
Now, if I understand correctly, if the Sox and Yanks tie, but Cleveland has a worse record, there is no playoff, the divison goes to the team with the better head to head (which would be the Yankees) and the WC goes to the other team, they don't have a playoff when both teams would make it.
Oh yeah and Papi for MVP!
