This was a very good edition of SmackDown!. The two things I most disliked about the show was that Ken Kennedy's undefeated streak has come to an end, and that the cruiserweights were made to look like shit. Seriously, London, Kendrick, Scotty 2 Hotty & Funaki got their asses kicked by Chris Masters, then Hardcore Holly & LOD run out and scare Masters away. Lame. They could have at least has London & Kendrick out speed Masters, then have Chris bail only to run into Hardcore Holly and LOD before being chased. You can then have Hardcore Holly, LOD, Scotty 2 Hotty, Funaki, Paul London & Brian Kendrick standing tall, which looks much better than just three guys.

I was actually upset this show ended. SmackDown! has hit a stride, and I'm happy for them. Booker T "stealing" the WWE United States Championship needs to result in Chris Benoit snapping and making some bitches squeal. I want to see heel Benoit again. I don't mean heel as in booed, because I think they should still book ihm as a face, but I mean heel as in he kicks your ass the entire match and doesn't let you get a breather.

The show was worth watching for Chris Benoit's suicide dive. I still don't know why they don't let Simon Dean show us what he can really do. Seriously, there are signs of brilliance in this guy every single match he works.
