The fact of the matter is that TNA WANTS to live and WANTS to make money. It's a business. Promotions like ROH and CZW aren't trying to make money. They're trying to cater to the smark*/underground crowd. TNA is trying to be a business and compete with another business, much like all the companies in the real world do.

If TNA wanted to stay underground and cater to the underground fans, they should have stayed with the weekly PPVs, or even stayed with FSN or another not-so-widely seen station. The fact that they tried so hard to get on Spike is proof that they want to go at it with the WWE, and the ONLY way to do that is to use the decades-old pro wrestling formula.
