Honestly, just get one, you will definately use it down the line, and use it a lot. i suggest go straight to wireless, just incase you decide to buy a laptop or nintendo ds.
I already have a DS. I figure that I'll get a wired/wireless router so I don't have to buy anything extra at the moment...
