The Fifa world rankings are comlpete bollocks.

They give teams points for results and take into account stuff like goals scored, whether you were home or away or whatever.

They're interesting to look at, if only to laugh at some of the backwater countries that are higher ranked than Scotland But they don't really mean anything at all. With the teams like USA being ahead of the likes of Italy.
