Mark and Smart are old Carnie Terms. A Mark was a sucker you'd fool into playing a game of chance (Or doing anything else), and if someone knew how the game was played, they were "smart" to you.

In wrestling terms, a Smart is an insider, and a Mark is a fan. Depending on the numouers definitions, it can be anyone from thinking wrestling is real to loving whoever they tell you to love to just being a fan.

A Smark is a hybrid term which generally means you think you know more than you do. It means "Smart Mark," And generally means you're anyything but.
