He got them knocked out in OVW training, and he was told not to get them fixed, because it added to his distinctive look.
You know what really would have rocked? If when Dean lifted up that the silver tray and saw him under it, he slowly, cautiously, put the tray back over his head, and walked away.
Better yet, he should have clocked him with it when he saw him underneath. You had it in his hands, use it!
