Now, granted, the Colts can beat a team after being down 17 points, so a slow start doesn't mean shit to them... but you can't take any risks when it's the playoffs. They're looking SuperBowl... I say just let them play a half.

I understand what your saying, but they still pratice all week, and you start them, but maybe only let them stay in 1 or 2 quaters. They do their normal pre-game warm up and then just play less, not warmup, sit for 3 qtrs and then play, although there are plenty of examples of backup QB's doing this after an injury and it doesn't seem to effect them.
Dunno, I just think if they're 14-0 and game #15, they're up 14pts in the 4th and Manning steps back and breaks a leg or something, it would be a waste of one of the greatest seasons in NFL history.
The goal is to be undefeated in the playoffs, that's what's important.
but oh well, not my team... So, I do hope they play ever single play of every single game!
