Ok, we'll ignore all the other stats that make those coaches much better then Vermeil and just pick the one you mentioned.
Super Bowl Records
Shula - 2-4 (6 apperances)
Reeves - 0-4 (4 apperances)
Parcells - 2-1 (3 apperances)
Vermeil - 1-1 (2 apperances)
If you actually take the time, there are many more reasons why those coaches are in or will be and Vermeil shouldn't. Wins, Winning %, Division titles, playoff records, etc...
The whole "winning a super bowl.." yeah, only 38 other coaches have done it (well, less cause some did it more then once) that being said, let's fast foreward to say March of 2105 at that point we will have had 139 superbowls played, does 1 win or 2 apperances still get you in?
Don't get me wrong, I think he's a good coach and a nice guy, but not HOF matertial.
