He never said he was pulling for USC either though. Maybe he wasn't a fan of either and just got into the game while watching it? I don't see what the big deal is anyways, so he's not a huge Texas fan - he's not allowed to root for one of the two teams in the National Championship? You are kinda making something out of nothing here IMO
