The NFL has been handing it to the Colts for a while now and they haven't gotten it done. "Re-enforcing" the touch fouls on DBs/WRs..who does that help? The Colts. It's kinda funny how that is "reienforcement" was put into place after the Colts' Wideouts where roughed up in the playoffs. Now, I don't think the NFL is giving the Colts a huge advantage, but they are definetly trying to help them out a lot. Manning is the real joke, he tried to blame it on his O-Line but look at that last drive before the field goal. 2 and 2 he goes deep into the endzone - that's okay but Dallas Clark was wide open in the flat, prob woulda got 10 plus. 3 and 2 he goes deep again, and throws an awful pass that was almost picked off. Once again another man was open for a dump off, this time it was Edge coming out of the backfield. Sure, 46 yard fieldgoal should be automatic for a guy like Vanderjek (sp?) but wouldn't rather see it as a 36 year field goal? or a 26 yard field goal?

And on Shaun Alexander, I think hes still got something to prove. I've never seen a guy with a concussion jumping up and down eating sunflower seeds before. He wasn't even hit that hard either. Good luck againest the Panthers, Dan Morgan is a sick motherfucker and they are all going to be gunning for Alexander because he came off extremely soft after the Redskins game.

I don't even wanna talk about the Pats game either, I was all fired up about the horrible pass interference call but then Brady threw a 100 yard INT, Troy Brown fumbled and Vinteri missed a field goal. I just knew it wasn't in the cards for the Patrtiots. Al Wilson looked really impressive in the game, he's really stepped his game up. It will be interesting to see what happens next season.
He insinuated that the front office manipulated games, he said everyone wanted the Colts to win even the higher ups, he's a freaking joke and that is one of the most absurd things I have heard. They got a call wrong, was it an INT? Well yeah. Did he not see the game up untill that point or was he too busy running his mouth? Did he not remember the Steelers having it 4th and inches and getting a false start call and it mysteriously NOT being a penalty on either side although the refs blew the play dead, only to go on and make the first down (which was a pretty significant sequence of events)? When at the start of the game the exact thing happened on the opposite side of the ball (except the Colts lineman actually didn't move untill the man was basically in the backfield) and it was called on the offense? Yeah, Porter is a beast and can play but he is a joke. The 5 yard illegal contact call is only beneficial for the Colts? No sir, afraid not. Yeah, Peyton probably should not have said what he said but he was right. This was the first time this year the OL hasn't gotten the job done. I don't even think he was blaming his OL, I took it as he meant they had blocking schemes, assignments, etc. wrong. Not saying "These guys didn't block for shit" but rather saying "We didn't have our assignments down, our schemes didn't fit, etc." Again, just how I took it.

It doesn't take a hard hit to get a concussion. And whenever you do have one (whether it's a slight concussion or a more severe), you shouldn't be inserted back into the game. Concussions aren't something to take lightly. If I had to guess, he had a slight concussion and they were just playing it safe. What else does he have to prove? 89 rushing touchdowns, 11 receiving, 5 consecutive seasons with 1000+ yards, has missed one start since the '02 season, good with the football, sure hands, best RB in the NFL. What exactly does he have to prove? That he can win a Super Bowl? In due time.
