He obviously would've been in the nWo, but he would've been like a second rate kind of guy, gunning for the US Title, maybe eventually winning a World Title after the nWo fizzled out, provided he didn't get injured around the time he actually DID end up getting injured and leave active wrestling for four and a half years.
