They proved down the stretch they could win on the road and that's all that's held them back from being a .500 team in the past. They also improved their bullpen and all the guys that were rookies last year should be better (hopefully no sophomore slumps).

Yeah the NL West is the hardest to predict, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rockies third, fourth, or fifth. I put them last because every single hitter in their lineup not named Todd Helton is unproven. They could all have solid years or all have awful years, you really never know with 2nd and 3rd year players. I think this is probably the best pitching they have ever had in Denver though.
