It is if you ask a Matrix fan. If the point is that B&R is the worst movie ever because it's the worst of a franchise that started off well, then the same logic should be applicable to The Matrix. It was every bit the disappointment to Matrix fans that B&R was to Batman fans, if not more because it was the creators butchering their own creation instead of a franchise outsider putting the final nail in.
