Excuse? No excuse, it's a standard. It's not just tolerated by the business, it's expected. You go through a hazing a period and when it's over you're one of the boys. Everyone of the people who bitch about hazing do it when they are in a company and they have seniority. Ultimatly, I guess it's a jock thing.
