If Spike really DID help pay for Sting, I'd be pretty pissed if I were a Spike TV executive, considering the only ACTION appearances he's made after being there nearly three fucking months have been on Pay-Per-View, which doesn't benefit Spike TV in the least.
That's the biggest example, but generally speaking, I don't think TNA cares too much about television ratings and only wants a television show as an infomercial to help sell PPVs (again, I know that's part of the game, but in TNA's case, the give and take that needs to be there isn't there, in my opinion).

That's a good post.TNA are stupid for thinking that squash/joober shows would be enough.Yeah sure they do put on good PPV's, but that isn't what is going to make me watch Impact.
