Things are getting a little ugly in the world of central Michigan indy wrestling. Apparently, Steve Corino's World-1 promotion is trying to butt in on UCW's territory (Bay City & the surrounding area), and has been offering UCW workers huge buyouts to work for them.
A few guys have taken them up on the offer, so the UCW roster is fluctuating a lot lately. Apparently, Bull Wheeler, Justin Rhodes, and Mayhem have all jumped ship. (Bull
) I guess somebody from World-1 told Brian (the promoter) that
I was with them, too.
Now, I have no idea who at World-1 even knows who the hell I am, but that's an indication of just how dirty those guys are playing. I was unemployed for two years and have worked a grand total of
one indy show...in my LIFE...but World-1 is trying to use me as leverage. Weird.
Anyway, the promoter's coming over tomorrow to pay me, so hopefully we'll get a chance to straighten some stuff out.
