Foulke's going to have a very short leesh, I can't see them giving him many chances to pitch like he pitch today. I think they would be better off putting Papelbon in the closer role, but it's still early obviously, so maybe he can turn it around. I've kinda lost faith him in him though, hopefully he can prove me wrong. So maybe saying the Red Sox should be the favorites was a reach, but I definetely see them being the favorites for the wild card atleast.
Yeah, I guess Jeter and Gonzalaz are pretty comparable.

The Sox have a shot at the wild card but my feeling is the wild card will come out of the central division (Chicago or Cleveland). Also, Toronto is gonna be breathing down their necks. Tampa Bay is going to be halfway decent (and would be a good team if they had pitching, they should really concentrate on dealing guys like Huff, Lugo and Gathright for pitching), and Baltimore might not be half bad if Mazzone can work with Baltimore's pitchers, who all have a lot of potential. I still think Boston will finish 2nd, but they're in a tough division. I can't see them winning as many games as Cleveland or Chicago, who should both win at least 90 again.
