This Mount Caramel High School (San Diego, CA) standout was in 1980 considered one of the best 2 prospects in the nation, along with Darryl Strawberry. The Mets drafted both and while Strawberry became a star, this player was never more than a 5th outfielder for parts of 6 seasons in the majors. Despite just 148 career MLB games, chances are you have heard of him.
