I've always thought Triple H would work as a face if he was suddenly replaced by someone. I'm thinking either Edge or John Cena. Just have one of them turn out to be the father of Stephanie's baby (storyline-wise), and then have Vince induct them into the family and give them all the top billings and easy title matches. Triple H gets pissed off after his political games suddenly mean nothing, crack sledgehammer shots to all that stand in his way.

Triple H has betrayed enough people to be alone in all this, setting him up as an Austin-like "DTA" posterboy. I don't know why, but I'd never put the title on him as a face. It would just make being the boss' pet seem so much more important if a former ten-time World Champ can't regain the belt once he's out of favour.
