It's not even about that, it's that no matter how good or bad these teams are or who is on them, they are always going to be on TV. This year the Blue Jays, White Sox, A's, Brewers, and hell even the Rockies look to be some of the best teams in their respective divisions but that isn't going to get them any closer to getting more Sunday Night games (unless they happen to be playing the Braves, Yanks, BoSox, Cards, Mets, Cubs or Bonds's). And it shouldn't even always be about the best teams either, they should show Pirates/Reds every once in a while just so we can see every team. ESPN analysts complain about how guys like Todd Helton, Jason Bay, Mark Teixiera etc. are "underrated"; well maybe if you showed their team's games every once in a while insetad of Cardinals vs. Cubs every single week, more people would rate them higher.
