Blow-for-Blow Recreated Matches...

I just had this weird thought. Has there ever been a match where two wrestlers recreated another two's match(es)?

Like, for example, the bookers watched and recreated Macho Man/Steamboat from Mania 3? (Biggest example of a scripted match I can think of.)

I'm not talking about short matches, parodies, etc, I'm talking about real wrestling matches. Has anyone ever booked something like that?
