All of a sudden I started hearing how awesome this goalie from United was a couple of months back and I saw him play in a game a few months ago and he was fricken great in goal. He like came out of nowhere and now is one of the top goaltenders in the world. He must of needed more experience or something when the U.S. made it to the Cup.
I think he may have been third choice keeper, i don't know if he was in the world cup squad though.

I think he's been awesome for a while, utd had been scouting him for a year and a bit I think, it's just that the jump from american soccer to european is a big one and no-one was sure if he was just a big fish in a small pond type thing.

I think he was going to be uniteds reserve keeper for a while, but his debut and other matches in the US were outstanding, so fergie kept him in the squad.

Which is a great thing because Fabien Barthez was utter shit.
