I just think Bret Hart gets too much credit for his ability, whilst CM Punk gets too little (in a lot of cases). Sure you have some fanatics that go all out for Punk, but you also have fanatics that go all out for Doug Basham.

Sorry, I didn't wasn't saying that you were comparing Bret Hart to CM Punk. If I thought you were, I would have probably fell over and died laughing.
Remember though, Bret Hart is a legend. Most fans grew up watching him, he had classic matches and they stood time. That's why people rave about him. Punk, in my opinion, gets too much credit for achieving so little. It's like the saying "if a tree falls in the woods, does it make a noise?". Well Punk has been involved in good matches but if nobody ever sees them, do they even count?
