My buddy was convinced that Marty Jannetty was dead. Seriously.

And the reason I bring this up is because the two names I remember from this conversation were Rude and Marty.

You see, he had been to a Raw showing, and was telling me about the idiots in front of him, who were shouting "Bring back...." Insert wrestler's name. This was far enough back that Rude was still alive ( I think it was slightly before he showed up in WCW), and he was like, "Marty Janetty's dead." And until recently, when he actually saw him on TV, he was sure Janetty was dead.

So yeah, you'd be surprised...
