Billy Gunn was already well past his prime at this point, but being a part of a comedy tag team was just what he needed. Notice how his subsequent "serious" tag teams with guys like Big Show and Hardcore Holly bombed. His in-ring work was no longer good enough to carry a serious team.

Chuck Palumbo is one of my favorite underutilized talents of the last five/six years or so, and he really benefited from the rub (no pun intended) he got from teaming with the veteran Gunn. Unfortunately, after the poorly-planned wedding angle, WWE promptly forgot how much heat this guy was drawing and buried him on Velocity before releasing him.

But for those few years when they were together, these two were consistently among the more entertaining segments on WWE programming, and they had excellent chemistry as a tag team.
