Sounds to me like your scared of the Yanks, as well you should. The funny thing about it, is that if Boston would have been willing to spend a little more money they would have A-Rod. I can see Boston kicking themselves for a long time for not getting him when the had the chance. You Red Sox fans are right though when you say the Yanks don't have an awesome pitching staff, we have a pretty good one, and that's all we need with this lineup. Also, you never know what Steinbrenner has up his sleeve. I don't think the Yankees needed to get A-Rod, but when the best player available is out there, you do what you need to do to put the best team out there.
