What REALLY pisses me off, the United States will look at this World Cup as the one that the refs stole from us.

THEY DIDN'T AT ALL, WE WERE JUST AWFUL

I am glad Eric Wynalda at least has the balls to say it, Bruce Arena managed this World Cup like shit. I can't believe they went with a 4-5-1 today. The midfield was crowded and couldn't get shit forward, nobody was moving around and other than a few missed opportunities, the US played like crap.

I knew coming into the World Cup that the US team was overrated. With the FIFA ranking and the 2002 cup, people were dilusional. I remember Marcelo Balboa playing "contender or pretender" during the draw and calling the US a contender. HA. Landon Donovan plays in the MLS, the rest of our players are journeymen in the EPL, this team has NOTHING on the world powers. The 2002 team won because they were fired up, guys like Clint Mathis, even if he was unfit to play in all the games, just didn't give a shit and came through against S. Korea. This World Cup was just a bunch of pansies like Eddie Lewis and Carlos Bocanerga.

I can't get off how frustrating this game was, but the US has got a lot of work to do. We can also count our lucky stars that the next World Cup is in Africa, we are pitiful in Europe.
