I'd surprised if Papelbon fell off and ended up not finishing up well, I wouldn't be surprised if his ERA raised a bit right because it is pretty ridiculous at the moment. Hes been a top prospect in the farm system for a while now and did alright last season as well so I don't really consider him some fluke pitcher that came out of nowhere.

I didn't say he was a fluke and he would fall off the face of the earth. I said there's no way you can expect this kind of dominance thr rest of the year. Francoeur is a great young player (needs to learn how to take a fuckign walk though) but the .450 he hit for some time was a fluke and he'll never return to that again. Papelbon is a great young player but there's no book on how to hit him yet, eventually there will be one and he won't have a .45 ERA or whatever.
Reminds me of Huston Street in a lot of ways, flat out dominated when he first came out and is still good now but they're hitting him alot better cause all the teams have seen him a few times. It's especially hard to figure out rookie closers because you will only see them 1 inning.
