I went with Cena. It's not that he's untalented. He's really not. He put on some good matches when he was a heel on SmackDown. It's that WWE has insisted on turning him into the exact opposite of what made the fans start cheering him in the first place, then continuing to shove him down our throats despite the fact that the boos are getting louder and louder each week. WWE has done a lot of late-WCW-style booking over the last couple of years, but their phenomenal bungling of Cena's stint at the top of the card is probably the best.
Mysterio's reign is way up there, too, since I'm not sure how it helps the credibility of the World Champion to be decimated three weeks in a row in non-title matches. I'm also not sure how it helps the credibility of the contenders when, despite those losses, he wins cleanly on PPV. But it started out so well, and we really were all behind him in January/February. It was only around Mania that it got truly bad.
