BTW, Ponson impressed me tonight against the Mariners. He had a shaky first inning giving up a 3 run shot to Sexson but after that he settled down nicely and only gave up 1 more run. His line for the night was -
6 2/3 innings, 5 hits, 3 BB, 5 K's, 4 ER
Obviously not phenomenal but much better than I expected. But he did start off good for the Cards too but then struggled so we'll see how the next start goes with him.
