The Lightning Seeds

Anybody here a fan of the Lightning Seeds and frontman Ian Broudie?

I'm no fan of the manufactured pop music you get in the charts, but Broudie has a talent for creating heartfelt, "perfect pop" which makes for some great, memorable music. In recent years, Broudie has toned down the synth/effects on his rare new material and concentrated more on "real" instruments and more subtle music, maybe a bit more acceptable to fans of "credible" music. Anybody who dismissed the Seeds on the basis of their questionable affection for whoring their tunes out for TV ads should check out 'Tilt', and Broudie's solo album 'Tales Told'. Two opinion changing albums right there.
