I don't remember ever getting him that far either, into black magic. Most of my efforts went into Tidus and Yuna.



I dunno if it's just me, but I even found the sphere grid easier to use than Materia, mainly because I didn't have to worry about HP/MP dropping when using Magic/Summon materias.
