Then why should it have died a long time ago? I'll give you the bad voice acting and cliche story in FFX (all I ever did was make fun of Kimahri, talking in 3rd person), but it was still an entertaining game. Most gaming franchises are stuck in the same types of characters and storylines. It's what the gamers want to see, and its the easiest thing to do. Otherwise all the FF male leads wouldn't be all blond hair blue eyes and spiky hair.
And yes, I am looking forward to XII. I've played the demo, and its pretty radically different. I'm not sure if I like the difference either, but it's different. And I applaud them for changing the formula.
And yes, KK, I obviously meant for you to get your signs out and start trying to boycott Final Fantasy to try and stop it.
