Like it makes me sick to see that some little league teams around here are called The Yankees, like why do they need to use the Yankees? There is 32 teams in the majors, I don't there is 32 teams in the 8 year old little league.
The Lowell Spinners (Red Sox Single A team) started paying teams (well not with money, but new free uniforms) to get rid of the Yankee name on their little league team, I thought that was awesome.

haha, I was thinking about this the other day. Next year I'm going to be playing with the NABA (National Adult Baseball Association) here in Charlotte and 1 of the 8 teams is the Red Sox and they wear the Sox uniform. I was thinking that I would feel like a huge asshole wearing a Red Sox uniform for 7 months. I couldn't do it. And you know that's the team I'll get drafted to.
There was a Yankee team in my Little League and Babe Ruth League too.
