But I am saying that Notre Dame, should they even lose one game, will probably be out of it a lot faster than a team from say the SEC or Big 12 that loses a game. That might not be fair, but I think that is the perception of Notre Dame. Because they don't play in a conference and their schedule always turns out to be weaker than it was preseason, one loss to any of those teams would kill Notre Dame long before Texas is killed by losing to Oklahoma or Auburn is killed by losing to Alabama.
