HE still really is playing the same role, just with less emphasis on hip-hop. It's more a mutation of character similar to Cena than playing himself, IMO. But to make him successful, or even remotely not a joke, I think they need to pull him away from this S2H days. It doesn't even take much to do so, but as long as he's Scotty, I don't think anyone will ever buy him as a winner.
