True on both counts! Greatest at-bat music ever: O'Neill coming out to Baba O'Reilly by The Who during those night postseason games at Yankee Stadium. Bonus when it was during a big spot and the crowd would go nuts, boosting the chillbump factor.
Shame the strike screwed out the Expos one good chance to win the division and make the playoffs. Saved Atlanta's streak, until this year at least
But Jeter, O'Neill, Bernie in his prime, and a better pitching staff makes this Yanks team a lot better. The ring doesn't hurt either.
