Jeff Jarrett vs. Chris Harris. Jarrett's NWA World Title was not on the line. Jarrett hit an armdrag early, Jarrett tripped Harris and paintbrushed him across the back of the head. Jarrett poked him in the eyes, but Harris reversed a hiptoss attempt into a delayed vertical suplex. Harris hit a reverse atomic drop and a single leg cradle for a two count. Harris rolled up Jarrett from behind for another two, then hit a reverse atomic drop and clotheslined him over the top rope to the floor. Harris hit Jarrett with a pescado, then started brawling with him on the floor. Harris threw Jarrett into the ringsteps, but Jarrett came back, tossing Harris into the guardrail. Harris reversed a whip and sent Jarrett into the ringpost, then rammed him into the announce table. They slugged it out on the table, but Jarrett hit a facebuster into the table, then slammed a chair across his back. Jarrett hit Harris in the gut with a chair, then rolled him back into the ring. Jarrett put Harris in the figure four, but Harris reversed it. Jarrett put Harris in a sleeper, but Harris broke out with a back suplex. Both men were down, and Jarrett draped an arm over Harris for a two count. Harris hit some punches and a flying clothesline. Harris hit a full nelson slam for a two count. Harris hit a bad bulldog, for another two count. Harris went for a reverse bodypress out of the corner, but Jarrett ducked and Harris hit the referee. Jarrett hit Harris with the Stroke, but the referee was down. Kid Kash came out and revived the referee. Harris kicked out at two. Kash tossed Jarrett the title belt, but Harris ducked and speared Jarrett for a two count. Jarrett blocked a whip and hit a shinbuster. Harris kicked off a figure four attempt and hit a tilt-a-whirl slam for a two count. Harris went to the top rope, but missed the flying bodypress. Jarrett went for the Stroke again, but Harris blocked it and hit the Catatonic (swinging side slam). The referee started to count, but Kash told referee Rudy Charles that if he counts to three, he will be fired. The referee stopped counting. Harris knocked Kash off the apron, and hit a top rope legdrop. The referee went to count again, but Kash again told him if he did it, he would be fired. Harris complained to the referee, and Jarrett hit Harris with the title belt. The referee went to call for a DQ, but Jarrett told him not to, and had him count the pin on Harris at the eleven minute mark. Winner: Jeff Jarrett.
Jeff Jarrett got on the mic, and started to talk about how things will be "his way" from now on. Mike Tenay came out on the stage and interrupted Jarrett, and revealed that he had been rehired by the new NWA Director Of Authority. Music came on, and out walked the new NWA Director Of Authority .... Vince Russo.
