They're a bit of awkward band really, since their newish stuff is a lot more accesible than some of the other bands of their style out there (mainly thanks to the singer), so I'm not really sure. There's that and they kind of bridge the gap between between more technical stuff like the Dillinger Escape Plan and Converge, and more straightforward stuff like Nora, Hopesfall, the Hope Conspiracy and bands like that, leaving them in a middle ground grey area.

Not very helpful, I know.
