I don't know why you have to act like a smartass. "Bucs" and Pirates are similar terms, but not synonyms. Its not hard to determine who the "bucs" might possibly be, but that doesn't mean it is a widespread nickname. Apparently in Chicago thats what you call them, thanks for your response.
