I don't know if I would take Indiana over Arizona State or Illinois over UCLA, but I get your point.

Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa, Penn State and Wisconsin could all be top 25 teams, Michigan State, Minnesota and Purdue are all better than most bottom half teams, and Northwestern, Indiana and Illinois are probably better than the Baylor, Duke, Temple type teams that lurk in other conferences cellars.
