I think people were booing him cos he had left to do films not because he was stale. It started against Lesnar at SummerSlam 02 before he left and was increased when he returned with his Hollywood gimmick.

I was never a fan of The Rock up until this period. He was funny now-and-again before this run, but this was his high point for hilarity!

I recently watched Backlash 02, Rock's interview before facing Goldberg had me in stitches.

So yeah, Heel Rock -- You should have done a poll really!
