I was about to blow my load upon hearing this, but I do agree that TNA has a long way to go.
Remember, TNA wants to start traveling like the WWE does for house shows. The Bound For Glory PPV in Detroit is only the start of their road shows. Which means that Angle is going to start competing in TNA, whenever that may be, right when TNA will start demanding a more taxing schedule. Second, it only takes ONE SECOND for a wrestler's career to be completly over in one form or another. We have Owen Hart to thank for proving that (sorry if that seems cold, but it's the truth). All one needs to do is to land one move the wrong way to snap Kurt's neck. But Kurt is one who knows that age old saying that wrestling isn't ballet.
Don't forget, too, that this will be a changed creative team. Vince Russo is back into the creative team in TNA, and I do believe (I could be wrong) Kurt came into the WWE during Russo's final days in the WWE, so him and Russo have worked together before (if I got that right). That could be good news for TNA, but also remember what kind of storylines Russo is known for making (Viagra On A Pole Match, anyone?).
The new time slot is good, but TNA needs to also work on being live. Get that unpredictability factor in there. It should be good if they try to do that.
These are good announcements. While TNA has a long way to go in order to get to being in a league of their own, Angle can carry THE ENTIRE TNA ROSTER, and he is main event material that you can sell as either face or heel. VERY good aquisition. Just be careful, TNA.
