Everything prior to the season is just speculation that people contrive from looking at free agent pickups etc etc. Sure, the Raiders are horseshit, but there was no way you could have said that with validity before you even saw them play. Take Minnesota and Chicago last year as examples. Everyone believed that the Vikings were a Super Bowl contender and the Bears were destined to be the worse team in the NFL, based before even seeing them play. The fact of the matter is that some teams overperform and the rest underperform to their hype, and there is no way you can determine which team falls into what category at this period of the season.
