Now I know a lot of you are pulling for Lashley still, and I like the guy, but the fact is they put the United States strap on him waaaaaaaay to soon in his young career, and having him with the title at this early stage in his career would just cause him to be massively "Cena'd" (as I've dubbed it), meaning that every time he shows up anywhere he'll either be massively booed as a face or get a split-crowd reaction when it's clear he's a babyface, and then when he wins 2 more titles in a span of 19 months he's cheered the way he should be with thousands of screaming fans at every show, and that wouldn't be healthy for his career. This very thing is the thing that has kept Cena from being able to really REALLY break out of the box. At this point, I think it'd be best to give him a rest from the title action until at least sometime after Backlash 07, let him build as a heel then come next SummerSlam, Cena can win the title any of a million ways a typical heel would and get the proper heel response (or not...) feel free to discuss, I feel like im getting carpal tunnel...lol j/k.
