I get so sick of people saying 'Its not Cenas' fault he's getting shoved down everyones throats'. God, its not like he's a dog thats just shit all over the floor 'its not his fault', or some 3 year old kid who's spilt a drink over an expensive laptop computer. Or Gene Snitsky. The guy has a fucking tongue in his throat, if I remember rightly, it was him who wanted to remove the rapper thing from his persona.

Well, toning down his moveset probably isn't his fault. But if the Rock had toned down his character, if Austin had toned down his character, if Triple H had toned down his character, we'd not be praising them. Cena's got some responsibility himself, and he's not stepping up. And yes, he did say that he was the one who wanted to stop rapping. I don't know if he's just being a good "team player" or if it's true, but it doesn't matter.
When you're a superstar, you play your greatest hits. What makes Undertaker boring is that he doesn't want to play his part, and halfasses it. What makes Cena boring is that he's been halfassing it. What makes Triple H awesome (currently) is that he's actually been working his ass off, even if he's playing a tired role.
It's Cena's job to make his new character more interesting, and he's generally failed on that. People genuinely liked him as an Eminem wigger, as opposed to the Will Smith wigger. People genuinely dislike his new character. When even the "marks" aren't generally into you...Hell, as someone else pointed out, when the guy from the rival brand gets popped more than you, there's something wrong. And stupid fucks can blame it on it being "cool" to hate the big guy, they can blame it on WWE, they can blame it on whoever, but it's largely Cena's fault.
