yeah, I'm running a stealth firmware hack on my 360 drive, but it can't do a media stealth just yet. I'm not too worried though, don't really use xbox live.
I'll tell you, for ripping original games, the best thing I got was a samsung DVD drive that I wrote the 360 drive firmware to so it can read the media. Heaps easier than using the drive out of your 360 all the time.
