I think the word your were looking for is "Briar."

That, again, is not a logical assumption.

The logical assumption is that this is, in essence, a "lucky break" for TNA, in that they got to blame bad fortune on the competition. The odds are even TNA's not stupid enough to rig this or blame their own failures on WWE. If they were caught (And it doesn't have to be at the scene, either, which seemed to be the basis of your brilliant reasoning), this would be far more damaging than helpful.
