To whoever is saying it's the WWE Title based soley on history, I would suggest you find something else to base WWE Championship above the NWA Championship. A lot of what a title means is how it is being used in the present. An example, when Mike Rapada was the NWA World Champ it ment jack shit to anyone. Hell I didn't even give a fuck about it. Then TNA came a long, and the Title means something in the moment, as well as having the history of Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, Kerry Von Erich, Sting, Dusty Rhodes, the Funk Brothers, even far back before the WWE Title was created. So putting the WWE Title on top based purely on history is bullshit, and you certainly can't put it over the NWA Title in present time. I mean as of right now, the viable NWA Title Picture consists of; Sting, Kurt Freakin' Angle, Christian Cage, Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, and even Overrated Joe. The viable WWE Title Picture is; John Cena, Umaga, and uh Kevin Federline....
That being said, I don't pay close enough attention to RoH to fully comment on their title, so basically I am left with the World Heavyweight on SmackDown and the ECW World...OK, easy, SmackDown's World Heavyweight Championship has a short history, with sprinkled cult favorite wrestlers inbetween Triple H reigns. In most recent times held by a midget who mooches of his dead friend's name, and Booker T playing a king. Joke of a World Title in terms of value. ECW's Title has a who's who of internet icons, but ultimately hasn't made anyone a living legend of a star.Arguably the most historical important person to hold the title is Terry Funk who was well passed his prime by the time he got to his reign. And as for now, well now it has Big Show as it's champ. Very well booked, but can't hold a dime to any other World Belt in level of importance.
So as far as most important title, if we are only talking about World Titles, I say it is easily the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. If we begin to count other non-world Titles I might end up saying something stupid like it's the United States Title or something...
